Domain names

This is the most important part of your online business. Considering your domain name needs discussion and serious consideration.

Do you need a .co.uk or .com or both, or another such as .org or .net?

When we purchase a domain name on your behalf we always register it in your name. This is uncommon practice, it's usually registered in the hosting companies name to make switching difficult and expensive.

If you register your domain with us we'll take care of all the paperwork and "park" your domain in our administration area. You do not have to have a web site with a domain. Domain renewal is typically every two years. For some top level domains (TLD's) such as .com you can register for up to ten years.

Costs are:

.co.uk - From £20 for 2 years
.com - From £40 for 2 years

If you have already purchased a domain then you can transfer it to us at no cost.
