Ensuring you have a firewall on your computer

FIREWALLS

Every personal and business computer MUST have a firewall installed and activated. XP has a built in firewall which is better than nothing but doesn't offer the protection if a commercial product. The firewall in Windows Vista is far stronger than the XP version.

ATNET use Kaspersky Internet Security which includes a firewall.

There are several FREE firewalls around. Current top of the charts is Zone Alarm Free Edition, search for "free download".

Please make sure you have a firewall activated.
